Love it! Design as a way of living is something I found in Milan too...mainly from the Scandinavian brands! I love the idea of not product dropping or presenting, but just being present while simultaneously bringing people together through food and community!
Your observations and wonderfully written descriptions are helping solidify why I love Copenhagen so much. Everything feels so intentional and beauty is woven so effortlessly into life. I’ve been thinking a lot recently about the balance and intertwining of beauty/ aesthetics, function, health, and optimization in design and this feels very much in that world. Love it. Yes, exactly. I also think we're often the ones putting the most pressure on ourselves to have every piece perfectly balanced. I actually came home from that trip feeling more relaxed about the future. That everything will work out, and that making sure there’s space for small things just for yourself.
